Timo from Finland just uploaded this beautiful sunset photo from "Aihki which was the fifth regional camp of the Helsinki area scouts and guides and was held at Jämijärvi 75 km North-West of Tampere."

I love the trees in the background with the setting sun turning everything gold.

Goodna Scouts go Abseiling

The always excellent Goodna Scout Group web site has just put up a great set of photos of Scouts abseiling in a beautiful bush setting.

Scouts talk to International Space Station astronauts

Eighteen Scouts in Kanata in Canada spoke to astronauts on the International Space Station as it passed overhead at 28,000 kilometres per hour.

The video is great. The kids are really well organised as the ISS was only overhead for eight minutes.

Utah's 911 Emergency Cub Scout Day Camp

The Cracker Barrel Scouting Blog have just put up a fantastic post about the recent 911 Emergency Cub Scout Day Camp in Tooele, Utah.

This incredible event for Cub Scouts involved  the local ambulance service, two fire departments, police department, search and rescue, sheriff's department and a highway patrol helicopter! It's a great story with some excellent photos.
